“From domestic terrorism to natural disasters, Angela has seen it all. As a former military veteran, volunteer search and rescue professional, and paramedic, she is exposed to multiple layers of trauma throughout her work. She had accumulated a significant stress load because of it, and even though she was functioning well on the surface, underneath, she felt incredibly anxious. The symptoms were starting to negatively impact her focus, relationships, sleep, and mood. In August 2022, she received the DSR SGB. Immediately after the treatment, Angela experienced a decrease in heart rate and profound muscle relaxation. It had a significant impact, especially on her quality of sleep. She could finally slow down and rest at a depth she had not experienced for years before.”
