The Mongol derby is the World’s longest and toughest multi-horse race that includes racing over 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) across Mongolia, changing out horses every 40 kilometers (25 miles), navigating between stations, and carrying your own supplies for 8-10 days. Over 400 riders from around the world apply and only 45 are selected each year.
Mary Donohue and Krista Carter have recently been accepted to race scheduled for August 2021.

Mary and Krista
need our help
Rags of Honor 1 is supporting Mary and Krista in their journey to Mongolia and across the finish line by joining together in a fundraising campaign!
Costs
Participants in the race are responsible for an entry fee, flight, lodging, equipment, etc. to enter the race – part of the money raised will go towards getting the girls to Mongolia and across the finish line.
Veteran Support
The other part of the money raised will go towards furthering the Rags of Honor 1 mission to support veterans and their families as they transition from active duty to civilian life. Mary is a military spouse and Krista is a civilian employee of the U.S. Navy. Both Mary and Krista are familiar with military life and lifestyle and support the Rags of Honor 1 mission to help homeless and at-risk veterans.
